About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Director and their two direct reports within a large NSW Government agency. This role requires exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for executive support, diary and email management, meeting coordination, and handling confidential communications with discretion. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting high-level strategic meetings, ensuring smooth operations and effective stakeholder engagement at a senior level.

Responsibilities:
  • Executive Support – Manage calendars, emails, and correspondence for senior leaders
  • Meeting Coordination – Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
  • Strategic Meeting Involvement – Assist in the coordination and follow-up of high-level discussions
  • Travel & Event Management – Organise travel, stakeholder engagements, and department events
  • Document & Records Management – Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information
  • Administrative Support – Assist with ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

About You:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, use discretion, and handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Office Suite, TRIM and other financial and administrative tools

Those with previous experience in State, Local or Federal Government will have an advantage.
