About the Role
As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in managing the school’s accounts receivable functions. Responsibilities include overseeing aged debtors, managing termly billing processes, and liaising with families to provide tailored payment solutions. You’ll also contribute to process improvements and collaborate on exciting system upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly management and reporting of aged debtors.
  • Execute termly billing processes, ensuring accuracy and liaising with the Registrar on enrolments.
  • Engage in advanced collections activities, including sending reminders and negotiating payment plans with families.
  • Accurately calculate provisions for bad debts and handle daily revenue receipting.
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and contribute to finance system upgrades and process improvements.
Your Background
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Minimum 2 years of full-function accounts receivable experience, including debtor reporting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise professionally with families.
  • Strong IT proficiency (Excel, Word) and bookkeeping knowledge.
  • A results-oriented, motivated approach with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in systems projects (highly desirable).
